Our story

From Legos to granola.

Peter was 8 years old when he came home from a fly-fishing trip with more than just fishing tales, he had a granola recipe he was determined to try. Why? To fund his obsession - Lego sets.

Fast-forward to 2020: Peter was off to college in North Carolina leaving his granola empire behind. But his mom, Jakie, wasn’t ready to let the magic go. So she reeled in her good friend (and longtime community-project partner) Ashley, and the two jumped into their next adventure - building an official, commercial Rainbow Trout Kitchen and sharing granola far and wide!

Each batch is made by hand with the same wholesome ingredients, crunchy goodness and playful spirit that Peter started with years ago.
